In The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, Anck-su-Namun was a concubine of Pharaoh Seti I of ancient Egypt. Unbeknownst to the pharaoh, she had an affair with his high priest, Imhotep; together they plotted Seti's demise. The palace guards caught Anck-su-Namun in the act however, forcing her to commit suicide.

Imhotep's attempts to resurrect her moves the first Mummy movie. In the second, Anck-su-Namun was reincarnated as cult leader Meela Nais, who conspirated with a British Museum official to resurrect Imhotep. 

Hers is truly a soul perdition would not welcome without a fierce dagger fight; her outfits could shame the most scantily clad demons. Venezuelan actress Patricia Velásquez played this sexy villainess in both films.
