Regina George

April 04, 2013

For a stock character, Regina George is an exemplary. Many teen narratives since Heathers have banked on self-absorbed blondes to terrorize schoolyards. Mean Girls is no exception, but Regina is in unique territory.

Brought to life by Rachel McAdam's acting and Tina Fey's writing, the queen of the Plastics spits out cutting lines like watermelon seeds. Fear those words not when she's in front of you, but when she's on the phone. It is by all accounts her weapon of choice, as evidenced by her deft handling of conference-call attacks and prank calls.
