Julianne Moore playing not one, but three villains

July 19, 2013

It's really the Year of the Snake Julianne Moore. Atop forthcoming appearances in the Carrie remake and Seventh Son, the famed gingerhead is said to be in talks for a malevolent role in The Hunger Games' two-part finale.

Moore is being courted to play President Alma Coin, the District 13 executive out for Jennifer Lawrence's feisty rebel leader Katniss Everdeen.

In October, Miss Moore shall reprise the role of bible-thumping mother Margaret White, made famous by Piper Laurie in the original Carrie

Early in 2014, moviegoers will do a double take as the Oscar nominee embodies Mother Malkin, the nefarious witch in Seventh Son. This is the big-screen version of the Joseph Delaney novel The Spook's Apprentice.

All these should constitute noodles for Moore after portraying Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Change. Now that woman is a villain, depending on where you live in America.
